I'm upset that I still don't know if it's pronounced demique with an ending like the word mystique or if it's pronounced demique like demi-kwuh.

I am bothered that people have a problem with moobs. Who cares?

Maybe people are reminded of their own disappointing physiques.

Either way. Whatever their situation is over at ASUS, it's annoying and bothering me that I can't just get some simple rubber feet for the laptop when they shouldn't have even fallen off in the first place

Asus is **** tier support.  Hopefully it gets figured it for you soon instead if getting stuck in Asus support hell.

I had a friend with an Asus laptop where the hinge broke in the first 4 months of owning it. They tried to charge him $250 to fix it.

Is ASUS support hell a level higher or a level lower than Steam support hell?

The exact same thing happened to mine. They tried to charge me $300. Asdf just kept calling and yelling at them until they did a one time free repair since I've owned it less than a year.
Damn Asus *side eye*

Probably about the same unless you have something ROG.

I booked a non-refundable hotel room in Barcelona instead of Lloret De Mar.

I declare myself the degenerate of the year.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. My wake-up is usually rowdy spam (prob because I get up 4-5am EST). I actually go read them because he has interesting questions for the new members.

No one likes pineapple pizza :(

I do!  But after years of eating nothing but (ham and) pineapple pizza I am sick and tired of it.

This new Thunderbird version bothers me.  It shows "Correspondents" instead of from/to, and I don't have time to change the columns shown on about 500 folders.

Also the new "enter inserts a paragraph with extra blank space" I have already turned off.

Thunderbird 3 was a steaming pile of horse manure, they had a few semi-reasonable releases some time after that, but I'm still looking for a replacement.

I stabbed myself in the hand with a knife cutting an avocado earlier. :(

I'm stupid for not being able to use a knife and now only have one fully functioning hand at the moment.

Although the life span of pets is usually much less than ours, it does not make it any easier when one goes.

dont say that. you did what you could. she had 8 years of being in a loving home. what more could a stray ask for? when the time is right, go get yourself another rescue and do the same for it.

+1

You gave her a loving home for a very long time (in cat years).  A cat could do a LOT worse.

She had a happy life and knew she was loved. If she went in her sleep, it was likely peaceful and relatively painless for her as well.

****. Don't wanna go home today. Gonna be a ****ing **** show I don't want to deal with.

damn what?

demik,  brought home like a bunch of girls,

They partied all night..

Refused to leave in the morning.. demik leaves for work

And now he's just received a phone call saying, the girls are still there , and have invited other guests to his pad..

Now they're eating all his Ben'n'Jerry Icecream..

And have depleted his Mexican-Food supply.

white sunglasses actually make more sense because it'd be reflecting the rays away no?

Or perhaps the black frame absorbs glare better

weekend afternoon naps are the best.  and 3 hours is not long enough to be considered binge watching.

For someone as self-diagnosed ADD as me, 3 hours of TV watching straight is a hell of a binge. I can't sit through a 30 min show without going and doing something else at some point in the middle. That also bothers me.

Battery in my car died.  The Fit uses a tiny 151R that is super expensive and only available in the premium models.  Oh well.  I got 5 years out of the stocker, not too bad for a tiny ass 300cca battery.
wut. i'd buy a ****ty IBM board for that green V2
