I'm beginning to doubt that I'll find a woman that will put up with me. I don't believe in fate but I believe that some people find a person that they can chill with. I'm starting to think that I'm not one of those people you know?

Are you actively looking or waiting for somebody to magically pop up?

I'm not waiting for anyone and nobody is waiting for me. You know? I'm 31 now, most of the people I went to school with are married with children, etc. Modesty is both a blessing and a curse I guess

Well there goes your problem. Measuring up your life to others.

There is no set age that you have to be married. Or have kids. If finding a mate is really that important to you then you'd be actively looking for one. We aren't all lucky to have someone amazing just fall on our lap. And having a defeatist attitude (not saying you have one) helps nobody.

Nah I'm just at the biological age where I start to get winded. Knees start to creak and stuff like that. It's easy to say go out and look for someone when you've already found someone that is cool. If you haven't noticed I'm a strange dude, some of us have a tough time finding people to chill with. I'm not trying to 'look for a mate', I'm interested in a personal connection.

Bro. You are on a website dedicated to keyboards. We are all strange. But I know it's easier said than done. I'm not saying you aren't trying either. And I get it. It's hard finding somebody you are compatible with. But **** ain't impossible. Plus you're only thirty. Cheer up buttercup.

Spent 8 hours cabling in the DC yesterday and only did about a dozen. The cable management in our DC is completely non-existent. I even showed a friend of mine via video chat and he was absolutely flabbergasted by the state of it.

It's so bad.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

I want to go to Miami in October but I hear the weather is awful =/

I went to FL in January this year and it was 80F.

I hear it's like, massively humid, then pours down with rain in the afternoon, then mosquitoes block out the sun.

This sounds a lot like Connecticut, hate hate hate the humidity.

Why are you people going outside..  That is not where the Ethernet is..

But there is WiFi.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

colors.

like seriously think about it, why do we have favorite colors. After reading about it it's all just because of past experiences

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO ME IN THE PAST THAT MADE ME LIKE PURPLE DAMMIT. WHY DO I LIKE NEON COLORS SO MUCH

also why the hell do mantis shrimp get 12 cones or some **** like that when we only get 3. Can you imagine all the colors they can see. It's like their entire lives are on LSD but better

should i go for VE.A or not?

no
why is that?   :(

if you want an ergo board there are better options for cheaper... I don't see a point of getting a VE:A other than for the novelty factor that it splits open..

i guess, yeah, i kinda want a split open design.. beside that, ergodox doesn't suit me because it's 60%..

I can definitely see the appeal, though. One could have all the numpad numbers along with all the workings of a tkl mixed into a small split form factor. Four programmable layers too, but that price is steep imo

yeah.. you know.
small form factor, split and tent-able design, includes numpad as well..
about the price,  if only i can buy all the parts separately.. i just need the pcb and the rest i can handle it myself   :'(
