What I wish they'd make (maybe they do and I haven't seen it) is a keyboard that takes out the "middle" keys.. do they call them 6 key?The arrow keys as well. Take those out and leave the numpad on.
Some of the comments on this thread are astonishing.
The numpad and arrow keys are some of the most heavily-used keys on my keyboard, as are "Delete", "Page Up", and "Page Down" (although the other half of the "6-pack" are rarely touched at all).
I can understand people who do not work with numbers not wanting a numpad, but how can anybody get by without arrow keys? Are you using a function to go into the middle of your character set to move up and down rows in a text document? If you need to navigate up 2 rows and back 10 characters to correct a spelling mistake, how do you do it?
Or do go to the enormous trouble of using a mouse to navigate, and that is why you need it so close by?
PS - get a Model F AT and add Alt keys!
