yes I made it from scratch, end up find it quite easier than I thought tho
the recipes is simple, just flour+eggs, but the kneading is the real pain, much harder than pizza dough actually, maybe life would be easier if I got a food processor )
What sauce did you combine it with?
I just love simple carbonara with fresh pasta, no cream just egg yolk and parmesan
Yay, carbonara with egg+parmesan here too, their creamy texture is perfect
Sadly in Vietnam all those lazy restaurants put cream chesse in instead, maybe because of the parmesan's price too but still make me sad and I end up made it myself all the time
I also like fresh pasta with bolognese, or meat ragu
Parmesan price in my country is also too much
And yeeee for ragu, I have my own recipe (combining many recipes including Heston's) which need around 4-5 hours of cooking
But recently I made a lot of pesto, that since I really can't keep up with how fast my basil grow . They're literally like weed and grow everywhere
Can't find pine nuts here though, so have to subtitute it with roasted almond and still turns out great
I can just keep going talking about pastas...
