Anyone with "SPAM" in their name I am suspicious of.
At least I'm not an alt account.

I just went back into my profile and read some posts I had made around the 100 mark. Some real gems in there, including (1) asking BunnyLake to add keys to a GB after ordering had already closed; (2) asking what a Korean custom is; (3) giving Binge suggestions on how he might streamline his cap-making process (I've never even seen a casting setup).

So yeah, a 100 post minimum is generous.

Haha, that's awesome!  :))  I had a look back at my 100th post, and it turns out it's this:eek:

* HoffmanMyster needs to finish that project...  :-[

I follow along here all over the place, but I only post when I have something to add. I really enjoy the community, and recently organized a meetup. However, I've not even got enough posts to sell in the classifieds here.

More than 8000 posts?

Wow, rowdy. Your post count is insane. What happened? LOL

Words.  Lots and lots of words.  Flying past in a huge blur.

Is that back when ALL posts counted, not just those in certain areas?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

That's tough to define, Spamray. The only thing I can think of is that I should be familiar with some combination of your name, who you are, and what you've done in order to consider you "established". Basically, have I seen you around?

Or have 19k posts like Rowdy.  :))

Frankly, anyone who was not here for r00tw0rm is a newbie.
"However, even though I was born in the Mesozoic, I do know what anyone who wants to reach out to young people should say: Billionaires took your money. They took your chance to buy a home. They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.
Late-stage capitalism is a wealth-concentration engine, focused on vacuuming up every dollar and putting it in as few hands as possible. Republicans are helping that vacuum suck.
How does a tiny fraction of the population get away with this? They do it by dividing the other 99% of Americans against themselves."

I realised today that SpAmRaY and I, and almost Cpt, and maybe one or two others, probably do 100 posts a week.

A week!

No wonder I haven't got time for my other hobbies!

Established member = someone who knew SmallFry.  Definitely not forgotten.

Established member = someone who knew SmallFry.  Definitely not forgotten.

While I respect what he did for the community, and the impact he made on a lot of people, I don't think that saying that part of being an established member is something that nobody can do anymore. There are lots of established members who have joined in the time since smallfry, so while it is a big part of being part of the old-guard, I don't think you can say you must have known him to be established.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?
