"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Me too! I think a big part of it is that I'm all off with my sleep cycle. As a result I load up on caffine and then I end up wide awake at 1:30am and the cycle continues. I need better coping mechanisms.  :blank:

My limit during the working week is 4:30pm, but only because I have a long commute home.

Other than that I used to have a small espresso after dinner.

, if you're eating a high carb dinner, then it makes sense to take a booster after it. Although I'm not sure you need an espresso, maybe like a light red or black tea.

Espresso is like zapping infantry with high energy space based ion weapons, it works, but makes holes in the ground and costs a lot more.

Espresso actually has less caffeine than normal coffee, it just tastes stronger.

Follow me on an adventure.

Here's our room, all ****ed up after looking everywhere for them. Bonus Sarah sittin at her desk, face palming.

Hahaha, I love it.  :))  Reminds me of my rooms throughout college when everything was piled into one room.

And most importantly, I'm glad you found the set!  I know the horrors of losing keycaps in disorganized rooms.  @.@

The fact that my best friend which is a childhood friend invented totally out of the blue that I owe him something like US$80 (R$300). When he informed me of the existence of the "debt" I literally thought it was some some sort of prank (he pranks a lot) but it is not. This caught me completely off guard and I never thought that something like this could happen. We never borrowed money from each other, and I never expected that my best friend would make something like this up. As far as I am concernerd he's not into a hard financial situation, so that excludes him inventing this story as a desperate measure.

I can give him $80, even more if he's into a hard monetary phase. But the problem is that he's acting very weirdly.

I honestly down know what do.

Just figured out I screwed up on my salary forms around a year ago.  And that I've had about 30% of the amount withheld that I needed to.  I didn't really have any money, but finding out that, in addition, your paycheck was a bit higher than it should have been, and now you owe back the difference... this. just. sucks.  And it's totally my fault. :-(

:(  Wow.  That's terrible, HPN.  :|  If you need anything, lemme know.  Not really sure how I can help, but...  :(

Might be time to sell some Clacks?  :))

Thanks bro.  I'm trying not to, but we'll see.  If only I could claim them as dependents....

So I get my clack today, go to the other room to make a drink, come back, and the damn kitten swiped it. In the right light you can notice a couple kitten teeth marks on it. Damn! Little *******! I don't even think it's been an hour yet since I opened it.

Probably shouldn't try it but my aunt used to claim her cats as dependents. Not sure how many years she did it but as far as I know she never got audited on it.

Hory shirt, your cat nibbled your clack? That's quite the offense!! D:

If they're needed! I admit that alt legends look cool, but it IS a little hipsterish if you're using them just because they look cool. Then again, I don't care. Hebrew Alps board incoming from Bromono and I'm happy as a hen. Or... someone who actually needs to write in Hebrew! I don't.

Continuing to lose weight... being at 6' 125lbs isn't healthy. Somehow the freshman 15 turned into the freshman -8 for me, I'm sure all the stress doesn't help either.

On a good note, being on break I can enjoy some good home-cooked meals. Starting to drink some Ensure Shakes to help out as well.

I recommend making some home made mass gainer shakes. Add to a blender: oats, some type of nut butter, fruit, milk of some type and protein powder. High in calories and really nutritious. I make them for myself when I'm bulking.

Hope you can start putting weight back on!

I've got bad knees due to some hereditary condition where the cartilage dissinegrates (my mom had to have both knees replaced at ~45yrs old) and they are killing me right now.

Dang. I'm usually at around 130 lbs at 6', but I've always been pretty skinny. It tends to vary from around 128 to 140 most of the time, but tends to stay on the low end, haha.

I've always had a hard time gaining weight. Might sound like a dream to some, though.
