Cat still can't come home... really depressed and worried. Bunch of other **** is stressing me out too... have gotten an email from my "bank" which was a really ****ing bad phishing scam, and got a call from UPS saying they need my brokerage number before they can release my package but when I emailed them they said there was no such hold on my package. Thing is it was an automated voice mail and they knew all my information and what was in the package and shipping number o_O

that and all the money needed to try and keep my cat alive... might have to sell some ****

Bad school thing forces me to take more subjects for the next 2 years, instead of me having done them already. Pretty annoying considering i want to get my degree within the next 2 years.

Yep pretty much the same here. Just waiting on dat fiber to reach my area. Although my hopes aren't too high, I'm sure something will delay it indefinitely.

I think bobbleheads started the trend with popular athletes and famous actors (Hawaii?) then it bled into nerd culture and later became Pop figures (some are bobbleheads go figure). My best guess is it's one of the coolest ways to have direct visual confirmation of an earthquake while you're busy with an intense cognitive task. or game.

Lately I've been getting out of the arcade collecting scene, so I know a fair amount about hit and run newbies as well as the overall lifecycle of a sales forum. Entry limits on post count and date joined are essential to deter the flippers, scammers, and hit'n'runs that will eventually show up if there is $$ around.  It's also extremely nerve wracking to buy or sell to someone new. I have spent close to 3k on ONE game before like this and it wasn't fun, even after I had the tracking number..... thankfully everything was fine.

I'm happy to poke around here and eventually I'll get there.  Have to start somewhere.  Thankfully there's massdrop until I can use the classifieds. Just need to stay out of boopers thread (and all the other awesome artisans).

It's the middle of winter over here and the office heating is broken again.

We've had three different guys in to look at it, and no-one can work out what is wrong.

Plus the unit is in such an awkward position that they can't get to it properly anyway.

Coming back again tomorrow to remove part of the roof to try to get to it (although I suspect that they will be removing part of the ceiling, as we are on the 3rd floor of a 7 story building, so removing the roof wouldn't get them very far).
