I have been to only 1 wedding in the past 10 years, and it was a black wedding, which was like an hour. We didn't go to the church part today, we are only showing up for dinner/after and hopefully we will be here for under 2 hours.

I was wondering about what I had ordered recently, and did a few quick searches of emails and PayPal receipts.

Apparently I have purchased, and am waiting for production and/or delivery of 5 complete keycap sets, 2 modifier or partial sets, 2 artisan keycap orders and 1 set of accessories (O-rings).



How quickly this all runs away from you, how subtly the panic starts to set in when these start to arrive and my other half hands me package after package of keycaps ...

And I do construction. Wallpaper to be exact. And I have to work nights/weekends here because it's a medical building in Beverly Hills and the people here don't want dust/smells because it might hurt their new noses/faces/breasts. Plus less people to annoy us.

Yeah, lots of people are surprised it's still around. But hotels love it. Rich people love it. Medical buildings love it. Hospitals love it. And I've been doing it for 12 years now so, I'm glad it's still here.

One of the worst times of my life was removing 3+ layers of wallpaper from over 50 years when helping a friend flip a house. I just see the stuff and have nightmares.

However, it definitely isn't out of style as I see it regularly, like demik said, in high-end houses and hotels.

Yep. It was like a blast from the past for each decade. In one bathroom it was geometric over boats over floral. We ended up having to steam and scrape each layer. The chemical peel didn't do ****e.

My buddy bought the pr0est tool from Home Depot or Lowes and the thing just melted parts of the paper, dripped the old glue all over the floor, and gave you 3rd degree burns on your head and arms as it dripped.

I stopped using Chrome because it was giving me start up issues - so then I started using FireFox.

Then after a few weeks FireFox wouldn't even run anymore; it kept booting into an error message.

So I went back to Chrome which is now working fine and uninstalled FireFox.

90% of the time all you need is a small water pump. Remove first layer with some single blades and spray the backing that stays on the wall. It'll start coming off. If it's paper and not vinyl, spray it without removing the first layer and it should start separating from the wall with a little effort. If that doesn't work. Not worth taking it off. Find the seams, spackle them and prime it for either paint or wallpaper. Removing it completely when it's a pain in the ass is just going to cost you money and time.

I personally wouldn't put wallpaper in my house. It's too busy. But, I would put grasscloth. I LOVE grasscloth. But it's expensive :/

And I can't spell anything work related anymore. So I couldn't give you an answer for that.
