Yeah man it ****ing sucks. I'm trying to fall asleep but no dice.

Toothache. Can't sleep because of it.
One of my biggest fears is the dentist. I hope it feels better soon. Tooth pain sucks.

Yeah I hate the dentist. And I think the only way to get rid of this pain is going to the dentist tomorrow morning :(
No, he’s not around. How that sound to ya? Jot it down.

Pulsing pain in one of them. So I'm guessing one of the nerves is ****ed. What pisses me off the most is the fact that I was going to fall asleep early tonight too. But this **** has kept me up :(.

Nah, I had my wisdom teeth taken out when I had braces. Not sure what it is. But I'm taking antibiotics and pain meds until I can see the dentist.

Prolly should see dentist as soon as possible,  because if the pain is coming from within the teeth, you might need a root canal..

I also hate the dentist but had to have a lot of work done (because lol British) about 7 years ago or something and I had a chat with my dentist and he was able to give me the sleepy gas and also a little injection that was a sedative that didn't put me to sleep but did kinda render me feeling numb and tired. Was great I would chill on the table thing and then have a woozy kinda sleep and then I'd be like woah that was strange and it was all done. And because I was so out of it and still he was able to do like two hours worth of work in an hour or so. Now going to the dentist is just expensive rather than scary lol

But what's bothering me today, is that because I was so tired last night, I ****ed up my alarm and stuff for my new commute to work, and have arrived at the office a full hour early.

hrrrm.. I just read this article,  that says it's better to get an extraction + titanium post implanted    instead of a root canal...

Because theoretically, the root canal leaves dead tissue WITHIN your body... Which may lead to other systemic diseases

I have no idea which one costs more..  so.... well, there's that..

Hrrm.. pretty sure root canal is like 1 visit,  whereas implant is like 2 to 3..

So if quick is what you're after, prolly get the root canal..

ASSUMING it's an infection of the root..

I used to hate the dentist, but I found a new one in Chinatown, believe it or not, and he's the man. So quick, easy and cheap every time I have something done.

Oh, and he does a great job too.

I feel you on the tooth pain, Demik, I've got one that's screwed up, waiting for either my appointment on October 1st or a cancellation because it needs serious work and keeps hurting badly almost at random. Just sharp pains up in my tooth/gums.

You can't just sit around and wait for an abscess to get worse. That is unbearable pain. Start swallowing antibiotics and pain pills as soon as you get your hands on them.

Get it fixed ASAP. And it will always take multiple visits. A root canal will get a temporary cap but then need to be finalized with a permanent one later. Pulling the tooth will probably require an implant or a bridge, unless you can live with a hole in your teeth.

"However, even though I was born in the Mesozoic, I do know what anyone who wants to reach out to young people should say: Billionaires took your money. They took your chance to buy a home. They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.
Late-stage capitalism is a wealth-concentration engine, focused on vacuuming up every dollar and putting it in as few hands as possible. Republicans are helping that vacuum suck.
How does a tiny fraction of the population get away with this? They do it by dividing the other 99% of Americans against themselves."

You're definitely right about needing to find something I can enjoy, I haven't been on a holiday in years and that was how I've dealt with the stress in the past. Might need to figure out a way to get away for some camping at least in the next couple of months so I can unwind.

It might not seem like much, but are you able to get away for a weekend camping trip?  That does wonders for me in terms of "resetting" my stress/anxiety levels.  Might not be a full-fledged vacation, but even a small escape can be meaningful.  Either way, hope things shape up for you bud.  :)

I got a message and an email from 2 different people asking me to review products for a site (different sites).

However I go through great lengths to make sure my email address doesn't get spread around with the only people knowing it being the ones I trade with.

Has anyone else gotten similar emails?

(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.
