spent 5 hours in gtav online last night, 25mins of which was just loading. Got kicked out of the server three times, attached by hackers twice and never got to do another heist, though one guy was hella salty and everytime we killed him challenged both me and my mate to a 1v1 deathmatch...

Last time I played GTA V I was playing on my own and ended up giving up after an hour because every mission I got into someone abandoned or we died. I got about $5k and was thoroughly pissed off about it.

despite the jank and mess that the gtav online is, i still tend to have fun... it's like playing dayz... and in first person the jank is 10x better

Didn't eat Breakfast, thinking I'd be home by 12 or so.
Didn't pack lunch, see above.
Didn't bring the Garbage to get picked up, see above.

Wow, they didn't give you half day? We got it, but I still won't be home until 4.

Apparently the company voted last year (which we did have a half day New Years Eve) to give us the day after Christmas off, rather than a half day after Christmas, and a half day New Years Eve.

I'm more pissed at myself for essentially basing yesterday and today around the fact that I had a half day, and now I don't.

Quickly cut my hair this morning as well, and it definitely looks half-assed, because I figured 'ah **** it, I'll clean it up when I get home, I'm only at work for a couple hours.'

I have to work today until at least midnight. This is normal for me on NYE and has never bothered me before. But for whatever reason, I'm feeling pretty ****ty about it right now. It's like the universe pointing out how utterly depressing my life is. To make matters worse, I was supposed to get something delivered via UPS on the 29th and they just updated the delivery to be Jan 4th. It has been in my city since yesterday. WTF are they doing?!?! I really need what is in that box. If I wasn't stuck at work I could just go there and pick it up. 

On the plus side, my laptop is working again!

I go in there to see what's what and she literally got one piece of cake to split between 10 people. I just walked back out.
