I went out at 11:30 for lunch, it's now 7, I never got lunch.

Oh wait, that's not bothering me at all! Hah. I'm more bothered trying to decide what to do for dinner!

It's called "whole paycheck" for a reason  :))

I go for the local produce, coffee and good prices on gallon water. Everything else is overpriced for what it is, unless on sale.

It's 41°C outside (106F) and it's just hit 36°C inside (97F).

Up until about 35°C I was fine, just registering that it was warm.

As soon as it hit 36°C, I started sweating.  I have sweat running down my face, my back, my front.

Now I am hot.

Fortunately tomorrow is supposed to be 19°C.

It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

The "cool change" has arrived.

Now it is only 30 degrees outside, but still 33 inside 9no wind, of course).

Those temperature swings are just insane.
I thought that being near the ocean had a moderating effect.
"However, even though I was born in the Mesozoic, I do know what anyone who wants to reach out to young people should say: Billionaires took your money. They took your chance to buy a home. They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.
Late-stage capitalism is a wealth-concentration engine, focused on vacuuming up every dollar and putting it in as few hands as possible. Republicans are helping that vacuum suck.
How does a tiny fraction of the population get away with this? They do it by dividing the other 99% of Americans against themselves."

Thought about writing a series of posts on mechanical keyboards for Russian community, realized that people would hate almost anything that doesn't have a numpad, dedicated arrow block, etc.

I'm starving. I started eating breakfast last week, and skipped it today. Huge mistake.

I have so much work coming up ;-;

And after 12 years of this... I think I'm bored of my job. Like, I like what I do but, I need something different for a bit. On the bright side I might go to Hawaii for work OuO
No, he’s not around. How that sound to ya? Jot it down.

U S-ck at Postal Service USPS.
I found pretty nice IBM Typewriter with free shipping, but I saw the word USPS.
and just say HELL NO.

I'd rather give it to the ancient vikings.
I'm pretty sure it will be safer way to ship it to my home.

Shoot. That reminds me: I still have to replace the one I took down because we lack the proper batteries...
