Well, experiments with mice shows that if left in a cage with the choice of Drug laced water or regular water,  the mice choose the drugged water always.

But in an open rat-o-pia, the mice do not ever choose drugs..

So while this is an imperfect experiment,  it demonstrates that environment has an impact on addictive tendencies.. and that social disconnection often correlates with emotional helplessness which can lead to an over-response to compensate..

So.. I guess my point is,  gotta go outside if you don't want to end up like the TP4..

I'm kind of bothered that I didn't learn about artisans before about a year ago and have just now got a proper understanding of the sub world that it is.

I wish I was on the boat when the brobots was sailing out. Getting a proper collection now seems really difficult or expansive.
I think it might be possible if I win some raffles and trade my way to it though

Look on the bright side though; there are probably more artisan makers right now than there has been ever before in the community!  While I definitely feel your pain about classic Bros, I have stopped worrying so much about snagging them and started looking at the newer artisan makers out there that are putting out fantastic work themselves as well as the other makers that have been around for longer.

Although I still haven't had the privilege of winning anything from great makers like Binge, KRAP, Clack, and others there is always more raffles/sales/giveaways to be had :D

Seeing things on eBay you really want, but don't need or can't afford. Case in point, I have never seen this on eBay together as a set before, let alone in such amazing condition.
And I just have to sit and watch some ungrateful collector who will probably toss it in some closet somewhere. I WANNA MS PAINT ON MY PC ENGINE!  :'(  >:D  :'(

What is that?

It's effectively a scanner/printer/drawing tablet for the PC Engine (Japan's version of the TurboGrafx 16) that has a rudimentary art application. Like a more advanced version of the Gameboy printer.

Got contacts and i was hoping that they'd work out.

They feel uncomfortable and i feel like my vision gets blurry randomly and my focus is off.

Hopefully i'll get use to it and it's just a small bump in the road.

But if not, back to glasses

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I am so often on GH that when I refresh my "Watched" page, nothing unread pops up. Do I need help?

Attack on Titan. I couldn't watch more than three episodes. Why are the giants and titans humongous naked Ken dolls? Why did it take the titans 100 years to reach the city? Much feels, but too many questions that needed to be answered :'(

Spent the last day thinking about what 1800 layout to use with my leeku. Finally decide on a 6u.

Find out plate only supports 6.25.

Put all the switches in... Find out split backspace nor the 6.25 bottom row I wanted is supported.

So now I have to remove all the switches, to put a backspace stab in and use a bottom row I didn't want... Or not use the plate.

Good thing you quit early.  The entire series is set on spawning 15 new questions for every answer.

Got contacts and i was hoping that they'd work out.

They feel uncomfortable and i feel like my vision gets blurry randomly and my focus is off.

Hopefully i'll get use to it and it's just a small bump in the road.

But if not, back to glasses

I had the same issue.  My glasses broke, and I ended up wearing contacts everyday, and I got pretty used to it.  Still, I can't where them more than a certain time without getting a headache or having it hurt when I take them out.  I like having both though.  Sometimes you just don't want to wear glasses.

Yea, I'll see what to doc says. I'm on a trial period with these sample contacts so I'll let him know my concerns and take it from there.

I'll probably use my glasses more since I noticed the contacts make me feel like **** while I'm using my computer. Just gives me a  headache.

We'll see

Was the computer issue all the time, or just when you were up late / tired?  Try f.lux to make the screen easier on the eyes at night.  Great program :)

No, I can stare at a computer screen all day with glasses but I'll get tired / eyes will strain with contacts.

Contacts work like this..

If you're transitioning from glasses,  you're not blinking nearly as much as -Normal people' or 'the long time contact wearers'

glasses keep your eyes m0ar wet, thereby reducing the need to blink.

So, without the blinking and suddenly no moisture shield from your glasses,  what happens is, your contacts will dry, thereby changing its shape slightly , and blurring your vision..

The dryness may also cause it to shift out of alignment on your eye.

If you continue to wear them, your eyes should naturally blink more and produce more tears.
