I don't know a single man that dry his hairs.

A towel is good enough.

Um..... well... if it's very short, you don't need it..

But if you want your hair to --look-SUPER-cool--..    you need the hairdryer..

The point is,   it makes your hair look good,  AND it dries your hair faster.

I'm sure there's plenty of travel product review sites out there that cover this; they may not be targeted to men but who cares?

Just pack lighter and get a full-sized hair dryer.

I didn't even know they make folding hair dryers. I have a regular hair dryer, that works good and doesn't take up a lot of space. How much power do you need to dry those manly locks?

Um...  it says 1875watts on the box of the one I have, but in testing, it only pulls 1300 watts, I was disappointed.

but 1300 is sufficient..

I don't know why they would put 1875 on the box when it only pulls 1300..

Well,  I originally thought it was perhaps, they're designing to the load spec of older houses which may be 10 amps instead of 15/20..

But, yea.. THEY LIED

I got der' Kill-A-Watt meter on amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/P3-International-P4460-Electricity-Monitor/dp/B000RGF29Q/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1436802338&sr=8-2&keywords=killawatt

Maybe your Kill A Watt isn't working correctly?

I checked it with my amp meter,  it checks out.

Basically,   the killawatt only goes to about 13-14 amps on 120v,   so  if it's measuring anything AT ALL,   that means it's LOWER than 1500watts.

Hrrrrm........  I'm pretty sure  this WOULD work, with a quad SLI setup

You would need the reference blower type coolers.

A custom duct, to concentrate the air from all 4 GPU..

ALL together,  you'd get something ~ 1000 watts of hot-air..

I do hair dry my hair everyday,
that's because I can't stand wet hair and need to user wax
a single (I think 2500w-ish) hair dryer would only take me 30 sec to get my hard dry lol

It's less about the drying..  and m0re about the Lift..  gives you that cooler looking hair-texture..

But the drying is also important...

Because it reduces bacterial buildup on the scalp.. (not an issue in dry climates) if you live in more damp enviro..

with hair dryer if you blow your hair at the right angle, you don't even have to use wax to style
it would stay like that for a while  ^-^

well.. that depends on how your hair is cut ONTOP of the Drying-vector.

As for staying power without styling-products..  in the winter, you're looking at ~ 2-3 hours.

In the summer,  when it's hot, and you're sweating,   ~ 20 minutes tops..

Hair-dryer was the future..   but that future is Here NOW...

Most US household circuits are rated for a bit over 1500 watts, hence why they are all rated the same.

Heat is bad for your hair, if you have really long hair, you never let a dryer near it. Hot showers are bad enough. Once hair hits/passes your shoulder blades, it's hard enough to keep it from breaking and splitting without drying it out with a blow drier.

Well,  if you have the thinner type of hair that is very susceptible to damage, there are those creams they make specifically for use with hair dryers.

I try not to absolutely kill my hair by at least just setting the speed to the highest setting but putting it on "cool"

Your dryer has independent speed and heat control ?

Hrrmm.. maybe i should get one of those.. but I didn't see one that does 220 and 110..
