Ok, so Tp4 has setup this old pc to do 1-thing, play Hades 2, New win10 install, HAGS turned off.
4790k 4.8ghz, 16gb 2400mhz, 1060 2100mhz 6gb,
Best settings, with spectre and meltdown win10 mitigations turned off.
This thing can sustain 210fps - 360fps(game-cap) @ 2560x1440, It's cpu-bottlenecked. The 1060 actually has a bit more juice, which is good because then we avoid the gpu 99% utility lag spikes.
1350rpm gpu fan, barely audible, 64C sustained temp, open chassis, 750rpm case fan, 360rpm cpu fan.
ULLM enabled, vsync off, you don't need vsync as long as you're above 200fps, even on 60hz screens, you can barely see the tearing. You can use fast-sync, because it's consistently high enough fps, but it actually feels less smooth than off because of the frame-pacing will be in odd numbers.
1000hz controller wired.
Realllly good experience.
