They probably wanted to see if he interviewed really badly. You could put down anything on paper, but if you are knowledgeable about the subject in person then that's where they like you.

So if you have zero qualifications and yet you can talk a man out of his shoes, and the other person is qualified to the nines (but not OVER qualified) but has the mental age of a primary school child, any sane person would choose you (provided you had some knowledge of the position obv).

well,, learning Mandarin is a stones throw if you already know Cantonese..  because the language syntax/ structure is what would've taken the longest to cultivate..

And if your parents sent you to any asian language schools on the weekends, you've already got a perhaps rusty but viable reading/writing base to build on..

Yeah it's forecasted to go below zero here in a few days, especially with the snow on the ground.

Yeah, when they have to mechanically destroy the snow because there is nowhere to put it that's when you've had enough winter.

In comparison we shouldn't get more than a foot but we haven't really had any snow so far, so it makes it seem like a lot.

Waiting for group buys. This hobby has taught me 2 things. One how to be patient and two how impatient I am. Makes me appreciate Amazon prime so much more.

Also GONs popularity, he is so swamped.. I'm going on 5 months waiting for my keyboard and it still takes a week to ship. This hobby may not be for me. I can't be patient haha.

You should really understand that there's really not much lost in this...

Let's say someone wins  a keyboard..

He sells it to someone else..

Regardless of what happens..  the original Giver loses the value of the keyboard,  and the winner gains..

So the value of the transaction is preserved.

The keyboard itself is just a place holder..
