BT is a ****ing piece of steaming ****.

What have they (not) done now?
i click the "change your calling plan" link and get to a page where i can't change my calling plan. only "extras", none of which are used by me anyway.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

BT is a ****ing piece of steaming ****.

I may not have posted this in a while. BT comments are in the 2nd half:

"However, even though I was born in the Mesozoic, I do know what anyone who wants to reach out to young people should say: Billionaires took your money. They took your chance to buy a home. They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.
Late-stage capitalism is a wealth-concentration engine, focused on vacuuming up every dollar and putting it in as few hands as possible. Republicans are helping that vacuum suck.
How does a tiny fraction of the population get away with this? They do it by dividing the other 99% of Americans against themselves."

Yeah, I am very happy that their broadband at least works. I am paying for only one service I don't need.

Another weekend is nearly over, and what have I done?

Fitted a new handle to my garden gate.

What I have not done that I should have?

Lubed Zealios ready for a build
Researched how to wire up an LED matrix for a keyboard
Made my analog stick mouse usable
Started working on a project that will earn me $1000+

What am I going to do now?

Change the music ready for my commute

Why are my priorities so screwed up :'(

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Good thing you didn't. Being drunk at the gym sounds like a great way to hurt yourself! I wonder how often the 24hr gyms have to deal with drunk members showing up in the middle of the night?

I was giving you the benifit of the doubt that you definitely would not do that. You'd drunk walk there.  :)

On another topic, I just tried to talk to my husband about my keyboard and his response was "stop getting nerd breath all over me". So that's bothering me.

When I get my HHKB the Infinity will got up on a shelf in a place of honor. I love it because it is the first one I ever built. I'm sentimental like that.

I'll like my Infinities more once TMK is fully supported. They were fun to build but the default firmware options are not that great.

It works good enough for me. I'm not doing anything fancy tho. But this is far too ON Topic for this thread. Absyrd would be super bothered right now.  :p

The only thing that bothers me about my Infinity is the fact I suddenly developed some sort of RSI while typing on it (admittedly while lazily laying down and with terrible form) where the underside of my thumb just above the wrist is sore. I dunno if it's muscle strain or some kind of tendonitis, but it's annoying and I want it to go away. Consequently, I'm not using my right thumb for any typing at all. I hope it heals. :(

Admittedly, the typing feel on the Infinity is a bit harsh for whatever reason; there's tons of feedback, and it feels good, but it's probably hell on the joints and such. Combined with the short throw and high actuation of Alps and there's really no way not to bottom out. :/

That said, I still love my Infinity as it introduced me to an HHKB-like layout, which I grew to love, and was one of the first boards I personalized.

One of my Duck Eagles is going to go with an HHKB layout in its honor (and thankfully a typing feel that isn't quite as harsh). :3

Typing on an acrylic plate or bare PCB has to be the best for one's joints and such. I still use my old Rapoo KX with Ergo Clears and o-rings sometimes because of that.

I guess this was kind of on topic. :P

It bothers me that I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure.

Green Apples. They're so ****ing delicious it bothers me.

I feel like, they're a bit too acidic for my teeth..  I get that temporary increased sensitivity on my teeth, after eating them..

Goes away after a day,  but still..  Feel like maybe my enamel is not strong enough.

We have this energy drink over here called V.

The original green cans have a flavour that I reckon is green apples.

Homework

I feel like the majority of the classes are not necessary..

If they just taught you 2 things,  Math, and English..   You'd be 100% ok for the rest of your life..

7:30 -1:00 work schedule today, then off till next Monday. Zero productivity. On top of that, my HHKB and Bro Caps are going to be delivered today. I'm not sure if a 5.5 hour day could be any slower than today.

Wearing glasses today instead of contacts. Gives me a headache, unless I wear them a few days straight.

Interesting video though.

It is amazing how directly related it is to winter in the Northern Hemisphere.

The carbon dioxide builds to an incredible peak until about June 1, then drops abruptly until starting a dramatic increase around November 1.
