What's bothering me now, apart from the dog over the road barking all the time (at 9pm grrrrrrr) is the forecast for the rest of the week.  Saturday is not looking good ...

Yesterday I found out the trip insurance my purchased for an event only causes items such as death and your home burning to the ground. Long story short I'm out $500 for not being able to go due to work/school. What makes it even worse is they waited until a week after the event to inform me. So I wasn't able to resell the tickets.

Some good friends of ours are getting divorced.  The wife seems to think everyone is against her.  They went to several therapists, and she wouldn't go back to any of them.  He's willing to do anything to keep it together, never any infidelity or anything.  They have 6 kids.  The court awarded her so much child support that he can't afford to support them and live on his own.  He's got a good job but is probably going to have to live in someone's basement or something.  It's a freaking mess.

That's really unfortunate. I have known a few people that have ended up in similar scenarios. Hope everything works out for him.
