This is actually super helpful. I put the strawberries (1 1/3 cup, fresh) in a 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 a lemon. But I only let it sit for two hours. I'm guessing that it needed a good while longer to be ready to actually put in the mix. I'm bound and determined to get this right eventually. More to prove to myself that I can do it than anything else.

Since strawberries aren't currently in season,  you shouldn't need the lemon for any kind of balance of flavor. The only way to make this 100% accurate is to buy a food scale and measure by weight. That's the weight of the clean strawberries to sugar. Going by weight is the only way to get a consistent end product. You can puree your marinated fruit to your desired level of chunkiness and add up to no more than 40% of the total volume of the ice cream base.  Make sure you are adding a little bit of salt to the ice cream to help bring out the strawberry flavor. Avoid any vanilla if you are looking for a more pronounced taste.

Would do that but I don't see how getting rid of caps would reduce my desire. I'd have to get rid of all artisans and go cold turkey I think...

Yeah it seems like they're just trying to cover their asses, it wouldn't be smart either to list the value of the contents because then it would make it easier for the snoopers around. I have never had any problems with packages in my neighborhood either. Out of the 19 years I've been on this planet my neighborhood has only ever had one problem where some crackhead broke into three houses but was busted a week or two later.

Too many dodgy locals wandering the streets with nothing to do. Hell the kids play in the street here. I have not seen kids playing in the street for ages. Possibly a good thing for the kids, but I dont want them putting their grubby cookie/turd fingers on my precious packages.

Yeah bu lifestyle also i am pretty over the whole city peak hour psycho driver psycho pedestrian psycho westfield thing going on in sydney. Planning on hopefully building some skills to work in the tourist/marine industry up here eventually. Thats the future plan anyway. Tried to do something beneficial and find a fix for keycap light bleeding. Already started getting filled with ****posting so I just locked it before it amassed into something more. I don't understand why people waste their time if they have nothing beneficial to say.

It's pretty straight forward to just paint the underside of the caps minus the spot right under the letter where you want light to peep through.

Headphones that I bought 7 days ago have only just been shipped out after asking the seller if they were shipped out 2 or 3 times since paying, no info updated on ebay item, contact seller, seller says that the headphones didn't pass customs and were returned, wtf, they only knew that because I asked them where the hell they were after paying extra for express shipping :|

Switching shifts from 8am-5pm to 5am-2pm next Monday.

I don't think it will be that bad once I adjust, but I am the furthest thing from being "a morning person", so getting there is going to be a bit rough.

Hopefully it's only temporary.

To be fair, it was one guy and the thread wasn't even one full page deep. It's also a bit rude to call those posts attempts at imitating demik

I locked the thread before the it went south, I wasn't trying to stay that it was being full of posts but we damn well know once half of geekhack wakes up there would be more. I was wrong in trying to say that he was imitating demik, but in the sense that he was just as good at being the least beneficial as possible. I'm also not saying that demik is the only one allowed to ****post but usually when that term comes to mind, demik is the first one think of.
