I'm a huge fan of tea. I got this gluten free, vegan hippie chick at work that's all about the herbs. She hooks it up with the Kava tea.  ;)

Nice, I've heard good things about Kava.

For the longest time,  we didn't know WHY people drank tea/ coffee,  but now we do know.. They're actually getting a short duration high.

It's not intense enough to haywire a person like a hardcore drug, but the long term effects are quite similar.

That being,  Shortening natural attention span, higher probability of depression, lower inhibition, larger emotional swings.

Now i know why the English are so cynical...

Hahaha....

If we look at the natural progress in terms of individual motivation.  Our system always chases the high, be it from food, sex, or something extreme like drugs.

All of those things in large enough quantity results in distortion of the person's mental balance and (drive) circuit.

Food,   obesity, food addiction
Sex,  sex addiction
Drugs, alcohol....

They're all different paths that operate the same optimizing function.

Why the problem occurs is because we're SO DAMN GOOD at being HAPPY due to modern technology.

Yet, our biological brain is INCAPABLE, and not equipped to handle how happy more specifically how (quickly happy) we can make ourselves

50 years ago, if you wanted to eat something good,  you worked hard all day, for a good meal at the end of it.

Today,  Macdonalds fries are $1..  DELICIOUS..

Heroin in Afghanistan costs LESS THAN FOOD..

So you see the predicament humanity faces..

I don't think we're suffering.. hahaha

But modern humans have conquered the most immediate threats to Individual survival..

So, what most people are left with is ONLY a hedonistic perspective on life,  Get high, then die.

Our next most pressing challenge I believe is management of personal goals to be in line with far reaching survival problems..

Asteroids, Alien Invasion, Ecosystem collapse..

The house 2 doors down sold a while ago.  The roof tiles were ripped off on the weekend.  Portable toilet and temporary fencing has been installed, so joy, we get demolition, deforestation, then a ****ing building site next door but one.

Rumour has it that the owner of next door wants to sell too, so we could end up with a huge building site right next door.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Mrs May has said she will set the ball rolling on Brexit by the end of next March by formally triggering Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty, paving the way for the UK to be outside the EU by the summer of 2019.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

"I'll take it any way I can get it." is probably more of a barroom boast than a statement of fact.

Ask them about non-mammals.
"However, even though I was born in the Mesozoic, I do know what anyone who wants to reach out to young people should say: Billionaires took your money. They took your chance to buy a home. They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.
Late-stage capitalism is a wealth-concentration engine, focused on vacuuming up every dollar and putting it in as few hands as possible. Republicans are helping that vacuum suck.
How does a tiny fraction of the population get away with this? They do it by dividing the other 99% of Americans against themselves."

But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Can that be modified for a 'window' ac unit? The people that maintained my first apartment thought it was a good idea to place a palm tree inches away from the dedicated wall unit. The AC 'window' unit was installed in a hole in the bricks. No window. I guess they were trying to not block the windows with the palm tree? I could have used something like that back then. Palm tree pollen got meh

If you are using the AC unit for  Heating or Cooling,   then just place the The --Whole-- boxfan + filter infront of the ac, blowing directly into the AC- intake

The AC will suck in the clean air, and you will actually now never have to clean that ac-unit.

The reason you don't want to take just the filter panel and tape it to the AC, is because the AC doesn't actually have much suction to begin with, and therefore, if you put drag on an already low powered duct fan, it greatly loses cooling// heating efficiency.

By using the additional box fan to pull the clean air through FIRST,you will retain as much cooling/heating power as you had, but now in additional to Clean air.

Soo.. wouldn't I need to waterproof the box fan/filter if I was to use it to feed the intake of the ac unit in question?

There's no water going into the box fan.

It will only pull the room air through its filters.

The space immediately surrounding the box fan is all clean/filtered air

Your wall ac will merely suck that in..

THus the ac itself will be all clean due to the box fan having already filtered out the dust..

Moisture buildup on the box fan filter is not a problem, unless your humidity is super high AND is condensing..
