When a newer boss at work gets some idea that will save money and make things cheaper without really understanding the processes/materials they are talking about changing.  :-\

lol it's so silly.

i can see maybe 2-3 months of having your credit card maxed out effecting you negatively, but 2-3 weeks? come on.

according to stuff ive read online, should never use more than 30% of your cc (unless you dont have a limit, then you arent really worried about a credit score) or it will look bad on your score.

Credit cards are the definition of "damned if you do, damned if you dont"

795 is a really really good credit score.

I like my stock Ducky Mini YOTH too much so I think I'm going to have to fork out for a GON to finally have a worthwhile resting place for my Cherry Replica set. :'(

$525. That's all it is... I just hope GON doesn't go out of business before I can save up for it lmao...
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

I started getting back into gaming lately (primarily FPS) and well ... I looked at LoL / DOTA 2 ....

And I feel like I've gotten old - or they don't appeal to me - or a combination of the two.  I feel like I'm a 100 years old and don't have any more room for game rules ... but it looks competitive so it would be fun ... but no it doesn't look fun at all.  It looks overly complex for no good reason....

Yea I'm getting old :(

It seems to me olden FPS used to be more fun - select a gun, find some ammo and shoot things.

That's pretty much all there used to be to it.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

sometimes writing covers is a learning experience

for example, I've had to frustratedly correct large parts of this cover I'm working on constantly because I was interpreting a marking I hadn't seen before wrong

also making tons of instruments for fine rhythms because my line density is too low for the song. ESPECIALLY when I have to calculate exactly the framelengths of each rhythm manually using math I am learning on the spot

overall this rage-cover has been nothing but frustrating and stressful but I'm going to finish it because I got some certain people somewhere else that I really look up to hyped about it and I'll bring a lot of disappointment down on myself if I don't keep working on it

I only had that for one game (and that bother me, to stay mildly on topic) was the first Blood.  I was really nauseous after playing that for 5 minutes, any other FPS no worries at all!

The only time I got motion sickness/feeling queasy is when playing the majority of Nintendo 64 titles.  Maybe not Super Mario 64 - but definitely Golden Eye.  And I hated it - because it was such a good game but afterwards I would need to take some aspirin and a nap.

This is when you know you might just have a problem. :-\

I don't even want to think about the things I've ordered and haven't even realized I didn't get yet because I have forgotten about them.  :'(

I went and took a bath with my daughter and when i came back i saw that my ****ing wife put the heater down under my headphones and one of the cables sitting on it. She ****ing melted the cable for my ****ing AKG Q701's......
I suppose i can just get a newer, nicer one but i'm still ****ing pissed that she doesn't think of something so ****ing simple. I've been being careful of that for the past 4 months and i let her use my computer once (she has her own but she was watching a movie on mine) and she ****s up my cable.
I guess i can just be glad that it wasn't on my Sony XB-700's, would be a lot harder to replace the cable on that.

Hahaha, i'm the reason she has her Japanese visa too so she'd probably get deported after her Visa expired if that happened XD

I'm not that mad anymore, it was an accident, it still works, and i still have the....20' or whatever longer cable  but in the end i'll most likely just use it as a reason to buy a new fancy Pexon cable or one of the many other AKG mini-XLR replacement cables. been wanting one for a while with no real reason to get one.

I bought a GMK keyset in October and received tracking.  I kind of forgot about it ( :-[ ), but apparently it was delivered.  I have no recollection of receiving said set and I cannot find it.   :-X

Yeah.  Might have a problem...
 :))

I also don't even want to think of all the other things that might have been lost in the mail...

Nonsense.  It's a perfectly good excuse to go buy an upgrade model.

And **** me for getting a little aggravated because I missed one of the only sales I always enter. Congrats I guess to everyone who gets to have a nice shiny new KWK

a dyslexic lawyer.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

I was sent to Minneapolis/St. Paul to work for 2 weeks. The guy i'm working with and sharing a room with, keeps blasting the heat at night!! Its not that bad outside and I love the cold refreshing air. I'm originally from DC and he is a Floridian.

Also he keeps turning on the tv at night to this water and waves sound thing that is driving me nuts.

Gawd I miss my cats.

Side note: We refurbish PCs Laptops Monitors etc then resell to other countries. It's pretty cool. Whenever I run into some odd and old keyboard or PC , I get all excited and think of you all but the guys I work with say that's just trash, not worth anything..... =/

Going back and forth between MN and FL is rough!  I have to go up to Philly every now and then from Orlando, and it's a shock going and a shock coming back!
I'm back.

This amp here acts up with distortion in the left channel and cuts quiet.

However, the moment I get it hooked up to any test equipment (or leave it plugged in) it works perfect. Damn stuff.
