Ok so my chem professor is really smart on paper but she has absolutely no understanding of the english language. She constantly messes up tense, possession, pronunciation, and just words in general. It's to the point where she makes lectures indecipherable at times. Today she wanted to ask if anyone knew german, the way she worded it was "Has anyone known germany".  The way the class is going I learn the material on my own, go to class, she confuses the **** out of me, then I do the homework and realize I was right the whole time. Seriously what am I paying for!

I'm just glad this is the only chem class I have to take, I'm ME.

 )   You must be having a ball!    If you need help, I might be able to help a bit, depending on what sort of Chem it is.  But I can't help you feel like it's worth your time, that's just how it goes (both because it's not your field of study and the professor sounds lovely).

 )   You must be having a ball!    If you need help, I might be able to help a bit, depending on what sort of Chem it is.  But I can't help you feel like it's worth your time, that's just how it goes (both because it's not your field of study and the professor sounds lovely).

Well, luckily I can drive real cars so I can slow down with the gears without much issue, the benefit of it being the breaks though is that it's pretty straightforward to fix and not super expensive... But still

My 550xi is displaying a drivetrain malfunction and this happened on the highway, I lost control of the gas pedal. Car ended up stopping on the right lane with no shoulder! Lucky I didn't get hit by anyone behind! Car now shakes like crazy when started, time for servicing -_-

There are people with language/brain disabilities.. like dyslexia, but that doesn't stop them from being well-learned  in their own way..

This is the first mech that I'll own, but I've borrowed mechs from my friends before. I've really started to get ingaged in the community over the past few months and have learned a ton about the innerworking of keyboards. I think I've finally found my niche hobby

Just buy a honda/toyo, and drive slowly < 60mph.. it'll last forever..

And my family also has 300,000+ mile cars, none of which are Toyota.  So we're right back where we started.

The longevity of a car has a lot to do with the owner, beyond a point.

No it just happened

APT was messed up somehow on my system and thinks that everything is auto-installed as a dependency to gtk+3 and it thought gtk+3 was the sole dependency of make (which doesn't even require gtk), which magically got uninstalled by trying to install 32-bit dev packages.

I kind of fixed it by manually reinstalling every single package in the system. But I had ~3500 before and when I got to it only 500 were known that I was able to reinstall right off the bat so it's almost like a clean install again...
